This blog post serves as an open letter from our EQFL Florida LGBTQ+ Youth Leadership Council for all LGBTQ+ youth across the state of Florida to read and hold close as we move into the holiday season at the end of a tumultuous and extremely difficult year. The purpose of this letter is to provide support, validation, and community to those who may be feeling unseen, alone, and/or afraid this holiday season, as we know many LGBTQ+ youth struggle with family and community acceptance/affirmation.
