Florida PTA Endowment Fund
Building for the Next PTA Generation

The purpose of the Endowment Fund is to fund the Florida PTA annual scholarship awards and maintain and sustain the Florida PTA. The fund would be used in the event Florida PTA is unable to collect dues or generate any revenue.

Florida PTA has a long history - - more than 85 years - - of speaking on behalf of children and youth; of providing resources and important information to parents, teachers and the community.

Florida PTA was chartered in 1923, as an official branch of the National PTA. National PTA was founded in 1897 in Washington, D.C., as the National Congress of Mothers by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst. If not for these women, there would not be a PTA - an organization that has been woven into the fabric of American Life. Together, these women launched what is today's PTA in communities throughout the nation, as well as Europe, the Pacific and Virgin Islands.

Please support Florida PTA with a contribution to the Endowment Fund. By contributing to the Endowment Fund, you give a gift to our legacy over and over again. Surely, there can be no more rewarding gift to yourself and our organization than knowing you are enhancing the education, safety and health of our children for generations to come.

You will be making a powerful contribution by building for the next PTA generation. All endowment fund proceeds will be placed in an interest bearing account that will provide some of the resources for the Florida PTA to continue our programs.

No matter what occasion you want to commemorate…you can make a donation to the Florida PTA Endowment Fund. The Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible. Please discuss the tax savings with your accountant or tax preparer.

Checks may be made payable to the Florida PTA Endowment Fund and sent to the Florida PTA, 1747 Orlando Central Parkway, Orlando Florida 32809. If you would like more information, please contact us at 407-855-7604 or 1-800-373-5782.

THANK YOU!
